Express Assemblies Ltd works to strict quality management principles and performs routine process validation and product verification activities on site to ensure the manufacturing practice remains correct and appropriate to the product requirements.

However, Express Assemblies Ltd can take this one step further and offer product testing as a service. This procedure applies to all equipment used to monitor or measure product or processes for validation and verification of product conformity conducted on site.

BLEEP TESTING used to provide point to point continuity testing of wires and cables
DIGITAL MULTIMETER used to test voltage, resistance and continuity and that the flow of current is not being compromised on the wire or cable assembly.
MICROMETER used for precise measurement of components and wire/cable lengths etc.
DIGITAL VERNIER CALIPERS used to measure internal and external distances from ‘breaks’ or ‘markers’ on a cable loom or harness.
PULL TESTER used to measure strength and evaluate mechanical properties of a crimp termination. It analyses that appropriate crimp force has been applied.
FEELER GAUGES A feeler gauge is a tool used to measure gap widths. Feeler gauges are mostly used in engineering to measure the clearance between two parts
STEEL RULE simple but effective. Provides accurate measurements of wire and cable strip lengths, overall lengths and component height etc.
